Several Design Evanston members and friends were present at Bookends & Beginnings (co-hosts of the event) for a presentation by authors Kris Hartzell (Evanston History Center), Stuart Cohen (Cohen-Hacker Architects) and Jack Weiss (Design Evanston) about their new book, Hidden in Plain Sight: Evanston’s Double Houses. The book features 42 examples of this unique housing type, scattered across Evanston’s neighborhoods. The book is available here on the Design Evanston website.
