In our second session of Design Sports at Evanston SPACE, Design Evanston members and friends continued exploring through play how to apply design disciplines to improve life in Evanston. We began by looking for trouble in Evanston, then explored the mechanics of creating positive change. Two different information gathering and organizing tools were used: One from Dave Gray’s Gamestorming methodology, and one from McCandless/Lipmanowicz’s Liberating Structures. Team presentations and group discussions followed.
