As many of us have experienced, COVID-19 has changed how we work, gather, shop and communicate. Many businesses have been greatly affected by the changes we have had to make to our lives. Some have suffered greatly; others have flourished.
Longtime Design Evanston member Stuart Cohen received the American Institute of Architects’ prestigious 2021 Lifetime Achievement Award on Oct. 15. In receiving this award, Cohen joined such Chicago architecture luminaries as John Syversten, Carol Ross Barney, Peter Landon, Stanley Tigerman, Ben Weese, Helmut Jahn, Gertrude Lempp Kerbis and Natalie De Blois.
For over 41 years, Design Evanston has promoted good design in Evanston.
Starting in October the architects, landscape architects, graphic and industrial designers, planners and other design advocates who are members of the local group will contribute occasional articles to the RoundTable.
